Read those Comments Here Tuesday, November 17, 2009Photos and VideoWell, in an hour and 16 minutes Sebastian will be officially a week old. I think I’ll let him sleep through his birthday! I’m attaching some photos under the cut and here’s a video of Alexander’s reaction to Sebastian! Stu went back to work today, and as with Alexander, I’m going to try to post a photo a day during the week while I’m home so that you all and Stu can watch Sebastian grow before your very eyes! Read those Comments Here Monday, September 28, 2009Applesauce and New Bike VideoHere’s a video of our first batch of apple sauce making, as well as Alexander’s new toy! Saturday, September 26, 2009Whose hubby is the best hubby in the world?Ok, so I know the title of this post is mushy…but when your hubby does what mine did today, you’ve got to do something to show him he’s appreciated, right? My parents brought down three bushels of apples for Stu to make some more applesauce with. I headed down to Roanoke with my friend April, her daughter and Alexander in tow, and we when shopping for the day while Stu worked on the sauce. He started at 7:00 this morning, finished at 5:00, and the final outcome looked something like this: I helped him load these containers up. Oh, and because Stu is so wonderful, I stopped by our favorite donut shop, Blue Collar Joe’s, on the way home (it’s about an hour down to this donut shop, so we don’t do it too often), to get him a surprise thank you gift. Read those Comments Here Thursday, August 06, 2009New Friends, Great FoodHad a wonderful evening with some new friends, April and Zach. April is a MAJOR cook, so she made homemade pizza and zucchini brownies, both of which were fabulous. The best part is that they have a little girl, Adi, who plays very well with Alexander! Hope to be seeing much more of them and hiking with them—they’re hikers, yay! April may run the Shamrock 8k with me in March, the step down from the half-marathon I did this past March.

After visiting one of the Great Lakes last week and riding on a boat that splashed, he said “Mommy, water boat splash” as we drove by a small lake the other night!
